Retired rugby league dreamer turned carpenter (Aitutakian) James Crombie and fiancé hospitality Manager Karin (Tauranga,NZ) moved from Gold coast 2018 with ambitions to build a business focused on  Our Local produce ,Excellent service, Vibe, Yummy food to get you in your feels.

 

We have a current all local team of 9 young and bubbly staff whom we are extremely grateful for couldn’t do it without them. collectively we are  T E A M  A V A T E A.

 

Opening one week before the border closures in 2020 , staying open servicing our local people throughout the pandemic if you’ve been following us from the beginning you will see our growth, always adding little improvements when we can to complement our offerings with much more to come in the future always improving striving for more.
